Glenda Cardenas was born in Ecuador. She has fallen in love with Minnesota and the Twin Cities. She is a Twin Cities based freelance graphic designer. She finds inspiration from revising the works of famous graphic designers from the past, as she believes there is always a pleasure in seeing the past remade. She doesn't believe in one dream job or position and is open to many different employment opportunities. She loves criticism and feedback, and is always ready for an opportunity to learn something new!

MAGAZINE DESIGN - LINGERIE
I had to demonstrate how to plan, design, and prepare a magazine editorial design that creates visual interest, that tells stories that are readable and pleasing to see. I achieved it by designed a cover concept with masthead solution inside pages, and one single-page with advertising that has evidence of the underlying grid.

PACKAGING - GARLAND SOAP
Here I had to redesign a fictitious soap company. A local small business that makes handcrafted facial soaps in small batches but elegant. Graphics for all six sides using the required governmental regulation like bar codes, etc. I integrated the drawing from the packaging all around the websites & billboard advertising, signage, and business cards to keep unity.
